China North Industries Incorporated (NORINCO) revealed the Sharp Claw I at the 2014 Airshow China in Zuhai. The "mini" Unmanned Ground System (UGS) is in active use, in reconnaissance as well as fire support. The Sharp Claw 2, introduced in 2018, is a larger autonomous UGS that works in tandem with the former system, carrying it longer distances to increase operational reach.
